Less than 24 hours after a team of revenue experts led by the commissioner appointed by High Court failed to trace the land of Sant Asharamji Bapu’s ashram on which encroachment has been done, micro bloging siteTwitter was flooded with pro-Sant Asharamji Bapu Tweets as tweeple vented their ire and demanded his release from jail .
A faction of Twitter users demanded release of the controversial godman on bail on January 7. They are running a campaign on the site with hashtags #BailOn7thJan and BapuJi. A similar campaign demanding the release of “innocent” Sant Asharamji Bapu was run by his followers across Twitter in December.
The godman’s supporters are putting forward all sorts of arguments to build a case for his release from a jail in Jodhpur.
