Unique way to Birthday celebrations – Avtaran Divas

April 20, 2014, Spiritual Guru Sant Asharamji Bapu turned 74 yesterday and Devotees celebrated the propitious occasion of his Birth also known as Avtaran Diwas or Incarnation day in their words, with traditional Vedic holdings. How an Avtaran Divas differs from normal birth is very well explained by Sant Asharamji Bapu. Bapuji says that the Soul is eternal and neither does it ever take birth nor will it ever die. To understand ourselves as the soul and not as the body is called Self Realization, when the jiv realizes its true identity then its said to be self-realized . Its to celebrate its birth the term Avtaran/Incarnation is used.
