Real miracle Sage in India
It is usual for Sant Asharam ji Bapu to tell us and also write in lot of spiritual books published from the Ashram that a real spiritual aspirant ought not to hanker (hunger) for super natural powers or Siddhis, because when aspirant starts desiring them, then further spiritual progress stops. Bapuji has seen some examples in which people who were getting good progress were caught by the temptation to obtain these supernatural powers and from then they had a serious back fall. Nobody can argument the perfection of Bapuji’s judgment in this stuff. But a hesitation comes to us from time to time. Many are the letters we got at the Ashram from aspirants from different places mentioning lot of miracles performed by Bapuji. It can’t be that all who write such letters are uttering falsehoods or are under any hallucination. It is likely that there is a little percentage of self-deceiving peoples. But judging from the nature of the events reported to have happened reported with multiple details and thorough care in the narrations.
We have to come to the conclusion that Bapuji is exercising Siddhis or supernatural powers. If so, will he have a fall down? We can safely assert that he never fall down—because Bapuji has mounted above the states of falling and rising. Since he has reached at that stage in which he can recognize himself with the Supreme one —call it Atman or Satchidananda or Isvara or God itself this stage is called Atma Sakshatkar, as you like—where is the question of falling and rising? When the ego is refuted, how there can be any type of risk of falling or etc. ?
One thinig is for certain. The real Siddha is the Atma Saakshatkaari who does not have desire or care about Siddhis, but who manifests Siddhis for the reasons of unselfish and as a communion result with the Lord or the Brahman, is the totally different person from the little man who has psychic powers to do points which are extraordinary or who have control on souls. The power over (good or bad)spirits is totally different from spiritual powers. And no real Siddha Sage like Bapuji goes about calling himself parading his powers or Bhagavan. It doesn’t mean that Siddha doesn’t know about howhedo miracles but they are not miracles to him—These are just ordinary things for him because he stays in the spiritual area beyond the reach of the common man mind.
